Baby Grace

This family is not new to this blog....however this is Grace's first appearance! (outside of Katie's belly that is) We of course had to start the session out with an updated family feet shot! You may remember a similar image from Sophie's newborn session. (scroll down) I can't get over how similar Grace and Sophie look! Katie and Jeremy....I'm so happy for you and thanks again for having me photograph your family!

Stephanie

Isn't she beautiful! This mom to be just has the best smile and laugh! I was thrilled when she said she was interested in having me photograph her maternity portraits. Her husband Tony was able to stop in for just a few of the pictures and I'm so glad he did. I'm so excited for you two and your newest member of the family!

One great family

I love photographing families as they grow. You may remember this family as I photographed Nikki and Dimitri's wedding last summer. Well they have added a new family member and asked me to make a group portrait. So great to see all of you again :)

Nakeyia & Will

I couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to photograph on this chilly February evening than Nakeyia and Will! I was a fan of these two as soon as Nakeyia answered one of my first questions...."how did you two meet?" she replied...."at the community pool when we were 15." O- M- Goodness......how absolutely sweet is that!!! These two Dayton natives decided to have their wedding here although they now live in Tampa...as Will is a Buccaneer. A special thanks to Jean with Weddings From the Heart, Traci at A Chocolate Celebration and The Flowerman for all their hard work!

Nakeyia and Will I wish you a lifetime of health and happiness!!! Thanks again!

Pictures from Sedona

Hey there everyone! Well most of you know that winter months are the slow season for photographers. Believe it or not I have been extremely busy. Back in January I went to Pheonix for the PPA convention, Imaging USA! It was an amazing experience as I was able to see Anne Geddes speak along with many other amazing photographers. My grandmother lives in Peoria (which is right next to Pheonix) so I was able to stay with her and visit a bit as well. My grandmother is full of this positive energy that is contageous. While I was there....Andy flew in for a two days and we drove up to Sedona. It was so beautiful there. The whole trip was such a great experience for me. Since this trip I have been working on reorganizing my business and my personal home life as well...along with taking all the ideas and inspiration from the convention and rolling them into Photography by Faye Sommer. :) So don't worry...I"m still here and this blog is still alive. I am really going to make a better effort to keep blogging regularly! Hope you are all great and remember....spring is right around the corner :)
