WOW what a beautiful/special day Niki and Dimitri had. There was so much love, tears, joy, and family!!! I had such a wonderful time photographing these two. They really are just as cute in person as they are in pictures. I hope you two had a blast in Antigua and thank you for such a wonderful day!

Busy busy busy!

For now I'm going to post a little trio from my Grandma's SURPRISE 75th birthday party. (I've been wanting to get this posted for a while, but as always my clients come before my personal shoots, Thank you to my family for understanding that!!!)

We really suprised her! Here she is walking into the room filled with family and friends from all over the country!!!

Funny.....

So I try not to overblog my dog, but I can't help but post images of her here and there. She keeps me company all day while I work from home, she's always happy to see me and she's my most reliable model. I took this shot a few days ago when I was trying out my new lens. Picture it... UPS pulls up....Maggie starts barking...then i get super excited knowing my new lens is on my doorstep. After I brought in the box I realized it was maggie's dinner time, so I fed her and continued to open my lens and of course, try it out. The only problem was my most reliable model (maggie) was eating. She has two favorite things in the world.... fetching a ball in the lake & EATING!!! You can tell in the picture below how unhappy she was with me!!!

Miss Taylor turned two a few weeks ago and here is her mini photoshoot. You may remember her from this post She's starting to say so many words now and is just a sweetheart with those perfect blond curls.

Fun afternoon w/ friends...

I'm behind on blogging, but determined to get caught up. A while back my friend Kim of Red Leaf Photography invited Andy and I over for a 90th birthday party. We actually did not know the birthday person, but it was the grandfather of my friend Logan of Logan Photography. You may remember her from the Vegas post. She was in town staying with Kim to celebrate her grandfather's birthday. Kim thanks for having us over and Logan it was so great to see you again. Logan good luck w/ your half marathon next month :) (P.S. I highly recommend you buy really good shoes, as I did not and ended up getting black and blue toenails.....OUCH)

Logan's mom mentioned to me that she never has any good pictures of Logan....being that she's always behind the camera. Mention and you shall receive. (that's not how that saying goes...but you get what I mean, Right???)

Kathy and Kelly

Kathy Piech-Lukas of Your Dream Day asked me a while back about doing some head shots for her portfolio. Kathy is a member of the Dayton Bridal Connection with me and we decided to have another member Kelly of Cinci Makeup do the makeup. She does a wonderful job and brides out there if you are looking for makeup for your wedding day....you should check her out.
